Privacy Policy

DateSense is operated by Osman Goni Chowdhury, an individual independent developer (sole proprietor). For any privacy question or request, contact support@findosman.com.

DateSense is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by monday.com. monday.com is not a party to this policy.

To shift task due dates off weekends and public holidays, the app accesses, via the monday.com API and only for boards you enable it on: your monday.com account identifier, board configuration you set (watched date columns, selected countries, shift direction), and the date/timeline values of items on those boards.

We do not access message content, files, billing details, or boards you have not enabled the app on. We never sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Solely to provide the app's function: detecting when a due date lands on a weekend or public holiday and shifting it to the nearest valid working day, and to provide you support. We process data only as authorized by you through installing and enabling the app.

Configuration and a log of shifts are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your monday.com access token is additionally encrypted at the application layer before storage.

Sub-processors: Supabase (database hosting) and the public Nager.Date API (public-holiday calendars). Only the country codes you select are sent to Nager.Date; no personal data is shared with it.

The app sends requests to the following third-party domains, each solely to provide the app's function — no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking services are used:

api.monday.com and auth.monday.com — the monday.com API, to read/write board data and authorize the app on your account.

[project-ref].supabase.co — our Supabase database, to store board configuration, encrypted access tokens, and shift history.

date.nager.at — the public Nager.Date API, to look up public holidays for the countries you select. Only country codes are sent; no personal data.

When you uninstall or deauthorize the app, all of your data — account record, board configuration, and shift history — is deleted immediately and automatically, well within the 30-day window required by monday.com. We retain no data after uninstall unless you have given separate written consent.

The one exception is our security audit log (account ID, action taken, and IP address for events like install, board configuration changes, and date shifts), which we retain for at least two months, including after uninstall, solely to investigate suspected unauthorized access or confirm who performed an action. It is provided to you on request and is never used for any other purpose.

You may also request access to, export of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@findosman.com; we respond within 2 business days.

We maintain industry-standard technical and organizational security measures. In the event of a data incident we will act on it promptly, notify monday.com within 24 hours, and notify affected users as required by applicable law.
